This page is here as a resource for learning how to buy and sell online. I have been selling on eBay since 2009 and have sold everything from a piano to a rock. My first sale ever on eBay was a Piano. I had no idea what I was doing. I simply took pictures and listed it under “Local Pickup” for $100. Sold it a couple weeks later to a family that was willing to come pick it up. I was hooked. I have sold mostly as a hobby ever since but have recently stepped it up a notch and buy, list, sell and ship items almost daily.
Currently I run 2 stores. One is our “niche” store for all things Golf N Stuff and second is our Marketplace store where we focus on items such as video games, Si-Fi, Marvel and DC along with a few other niche categories.
For the new seller or the seller that is looking to ramp up their reselling business here is where we will share some tips and tools needed to take that next step.
Postage Scales – You will need to invest in a scale to start packaging and weighing your items. These are not expensive and will give you a huge return on investment over your re-selling career. Here are a couple we can recommend:
1) Accuteck ShipPro W-8580 110lbs x 0.1 oz – Black Digital shipping postal scale
2) Weighmax W-2809 90 LB x 0.1 OZ – Digital Shipping Postal Scale W/AC Adapter
Box Resizer -Huge time and money saver. The smaller and lighter the box the better. Also gives your boxes a more professional appearance.
